Meet Elizabeth Ashworth, our visionary Executive Director, a Montessori veteran of 26 years. Driven by a deep desire to leave a lasting legacy, Elizabeth and her family aspire to touch as many lives as possible. In her extensive experience, Elizabeth has witnessed the challenges faced by families with special needs children, knowing firsthand the transformative power of support.

Our mission extends beyond individual families; it's a commitment to entire communities. Underserved areas lack the resources to offer a Montessori education, and our goal is to change that narrative. We believe in empowering single-parent families who dream of giving their children a better start in life.

How our journey began…

In the heart of our mission lies a story—a story of hope, dedication, and the pursuit of a better future for every child. Our journey begins with a pre-launch crowdfunding campaign, seeking initial funds to provide crucial financial assistance to families yearning for a brighter educational path.

One key to our vision is certifying more Montessori teachers. Recognizing a shortage in the field, we aim to provide financial scholarships to aspiring educators. The more teachers we certify, the more schools can flourish, nurturing countless children and families in need.

Montessori Tuition

Unlock Montessori education with CRMF's Tuition Financial Aid program. We provide flexible support for 3, 6, or 12 months based on each family's financial situation.

Partnering with Montessori schools nationwide, we contribute aid determined by CRMF resources. Families apply through ISM FAST Aid for a fair assessment, ensuring affordability and opening doors to quality education for every child.

  • On our website complete a straightforward online application for Montessori Tuition Financial Aid. Choose a partnering Montessori school where you'd like to enroll your child.

  • CRMF will determine the aid amount based on available resources. Once approved, the aid will be directly contributed to the selected Montessori school.

  • Families will apply through ISM FAST Aid, an independent company, for a fair financial assessment to determine aid eligibility and monthly contribution to tuition.

Process

    Ms. Elizabeth has been a Montessori lead teacher, owned her own school, and is currently the Director at Stepping Stone Montessori School in Sugar Hill, Georgia. Ms. Elizabeth has been a dedicated Montessorian for over 26 years.

    Courtney Schuler

    Board of Director Member

    Courtney, a mother of two and an experienced pediatric Occupational Therapist for over 15 years, specializes in sensory processing. With degrees in Psychology and Child Development, she holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Certified in various therapeutic techniques, including Sensory Processing Disorder and Reflex Integration, Courtney is also a registered yoga teacher. Her passion lies in making therapy enjoyable and collaborative, working closely with families to create personalized programs for positive outcomes. As a two-time presenter at the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association Conference, she shares her expertise with educators, parents, and professionals. Courtney's joy comes from witnessing children's progress and contributing to their thriving in all environments.

    Luis Contreras

    Luis Contreras, born in El Salvador in 1987, migrated to the U.S. at 14 with his single mother, embracing education in GA. A graduate of Meadow Creek High School and Gwinnett Technical College, Luis combined technical skills and creativity, starting with computer repair and later venturing into photography and videography. Now a proud father, he values the joys of parenthood. Luis crafts digital experiences that blend technology and art, telling stories that reflect his Salvadoran roots, journey to the U.S., joys of fatherhood, and passion for creative expression—one story at a time.

    Noha Rabah

    Board of Directors Member

    I was born and raised in Lebanon and Georgia is my home now where I have lived since 2001. My family consists of my amazing 20-year-old daughter, my husband, and my 3-year-old cat, Chi. In 2011; I attended the Atlanta Montessori Institute from where I received my Primary certification through the Association Montessori International (AMI) and got my Master’s degree from Loyola University in Maryland. I have my bachelor's degree in English Literature from Lebanon.

    I have been in teaching since 1994. I worked as an elementary teacher for eight years and a middle school teacher for one year in Lebanon. When I came to the United States in 2001, I worked as a salesperson for just a few months in a department store. When my daughter was three years old, I worked as an assistant in a Montessori Primary classroom at my daughter’s school. I liked the Montessori Method, so I decided to take my Montessori training in 2011-2012 and became a Primary lead teacher since then.

    I love children and I enjoy helping them. I believe that working with children is the most sacred job in the world because the child is the essence of humanity. I also enjoy spending time with family, cooking, sewing, and walking in nature.
